Sunday Sunday

I love Sundays! I love going to church and then coming home and relaxing the rest of the day. This morning we are going to the early service and then I'm helping out in our coffee shop. After that we are coming and I will be getting back in my pjs for a day of studying and relaxing:) I have a good three hours of studying to do but am thankful I can stay at home to do it. We had a wonderful day yesterday! I went to the coffee shop in the morning with my mom and studied for a couple of hours. Then Noah's godparents came over and we made Valentine's cookies with them. It was a blast. On a whim we decided to go see the movie "He's just not that into you" with them. It was ok but not as good as I thought it was going to be. We also want to see New in Town so I think we might do that next weekend. Overall it's been a wonderful weekend and the temps got up to 50 degrees! Tomorrow I have my OB appt and honestly I'm a little nervous. I missed my last appt in error and we haven't heard the heartbeat yet. I'm pretty sure I've felt the baby move a couple of times but i'm anxious to have her check everything tomorrow and confirm the baby is doing ok. We should also be setting the date for when we get to find out what it is so I'm very excited about that. Well that's about it for now. I must run and get the family ready for church. Have a great day!

Perfect Peace

I just picked up Laura Story's cd this weekend absolutely love it! Our church sings Mighty To Save during worship often and i've always wanted to listen to her other songs. My girlfriend emailed me this past week and asked if I had listened to her song Perfect Peace, which at the time I had not. She said the song reminded her of my mom....so I drove over to our Christian Bookstore and picked it up and I love the cd and song Perfect Peace! It reminded again just how awesome God is. I've been reading Kelly's Blog (on my side bar) and Jenna's Journey the last couple of months and its been so neat to follow their stories and the testimony God has given them.

Today has been a busy day and boy was it nice to pick up the boys after work and come home. Chad's making BBQs for dinner and then I have to go to the coffee shop to study for a couple of hours. I'm so thankful to have such a supportive husband!!! While I was taking a nap before class yesterday Chad put away four loads of laundry, unloaded the dishwasher, and washed the remaining dishes. God has truly blessed me.

Exciting news!- I'm going to San Antonio in March and can't wait. My best friend lives there with her two kids while her husband is overseas. I haven't seen her in over a year and miss her teribly. We met each other when we were in highschool and our parents were stationed on the same base in Alaska. We've been best friends ever since. I booked my ticket on Friday and leave March 24th. I'm so looking forward to enjoying the warm weather! I'm going solo also so it will be weird to be away from my babies for five days but i know they are in wonderful hands:)

PJ Party

It's been a wonderful weekend! Yesterday I spent some time with my mom and at a new coffee shop in town and had a wonderful time. Then the boys and I made a new batch of pladough...photos coming soon:) I met up with on of my girfriends for dinner at her place with another friend and had a blast. It was pretty funny because we are both expecting and our other girlfriend wanted to order take out from Texas Roadhouse...well my M and I are having a hard time eating meat in general and quite honestly nothing on the menu sounded good....except for the sides and amazing dinner rolls....so that's exactly what her and I ordered. Let me tell you I haven't had a baked potato that good in a long time! This morning I slept in until 7:30 which was wonderful and I headed back to bed a 9:00 for a three hour nap which was awesome and quite honestly I might just take another nap when the boys go down here in an hour. We have named today pajama day and I'm planning on staying in them all day. My mom and sisters were going to come over for the superbowl but she hasn't been feeling good and will not be coming after all. Her other tests came back abnormal and quite honestly the diagnosis isn't looking so good. She has another appt on Thursday and are hoping to know more then. I started classes last week and will be spending quite a bit of my time at the coffee shop this semester studying. It is nice to have just one class this semester but the work will be like taking two. I have a paper to finish writing this afternoon after nap number two. :) I hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday with family and friends!
